Find motocross and dirt-bike riding buddies
Looking for someone to share a track day or a dirt-bike trail ride? Start by distinguishing the two. Track sessions and off-road trail rides have different access rules, equipment needs and expectations. Motocross and dirt bikes are one part of RydeCrew's wider riding community.
For a motocross track day
Choose a track together and confirm opening hours, fees, required gear and session groups with the operator. Tell potential riding partners whether you are learning corners, building confidence or practicing at a faster pace. Do not assume a buddy can coach or supervise you.
For a dirt-bike trail ride
Discuss terrain, technical difficulty, fuel range and whether bikes need registration or permits. Check trail closures and legal motorized access with the land manager. Agree on regroup points and a turn-back plan before leaving the staging area.
Describe your experience honestly
Rather than simply saying intermediate, describe the terrain you are comfortable with and what you want to avoid. Ask whether the group waits at junctions and how it handles a breakdown. A manageable first ride is a better introduction than trying to prove your speed.
